Links- Since moving to Washington, a recent event, I have fallen in with the SnoValley Writes!Work Group, an inspiring bunch of writers who really get down and write at their meetings. It's not a writers' whine group, or a writers' wish group. No, it's a writers' work group, and they ain't just a'whistlin' Dixie. I'm going to have to toe the line now.
- WEbook is a great site for readers and writers. If you go there, you may help to discover some new writers. You can read first pages and rate them. If you like them and think the authors should have a chance to post the first 5 pages, then you rate the work with a 4 or 5. Several of the ones that I have loved have been elevated to the 5 page level now. After further success, agents will read the work. There are also projects posted there that authors are sharing for feedback from readers. This is good stuff.
- I enjoy this site a lot, and you might, too. One word, so little time. You go there and write for one minute on the word posted. A timer goes off, and you finish the sentence you're working on. That's it. It gets posted, and the next day you move on to the next word. Even if you only write for one minute, hey, at least you've written something that day.
- And, of course, you can find me on facebook here, waaaay too often.
